My name is Alec De Leon and I'm a writer, director,  and freelancer from  Houston, Texas.  As far back as I can remember I've always been a curious person. It was customary I shook everyones hand whenever my father took me anywhere, introducing myself every time to wary strangers. Through this small action I grew to appreciate the individual characters I met, their person speaking through so much more than what appeared to be.

At night I would watch the lights in office buildings stay on underneath the glow of the moon and imagine all the stories in each of those windows. How many of them were dreaming, were twelve hours in, were empty, were just like the others, were looking right back out at me?

My search for understanding and meaning led me to the stories  which could broaden my perspective and uncover clues to the answers I sought. I have thus far concluded, there are no such answers. While some stories fit within the written medium, there where others that I thought might be interesting to explore visually. This roundabout process ultimately led me to storytelling across a couple of mediums and the convuluded worlds of those crafts. Now I pursue the stories and process of doing that which I love.
